is that what’s happening

basically people are angry because the Watson in the cbs show was changed to a female failed doctor played by an objectivly attractive woman and whilst a fair chunk of the people angry are angry because they assume that it was a choice and change made because GOD FORBID WE IMPLY HOMOSEXUALITY, the lead must have a damsel to save!!, which even if such turns out not to be entirely true at a later date is still a valid reason to be annoyed,

quite a few people are probably just angry that there’s no yaois

not that there ever was any yaois in the original show

and any implied homosexuality was in the form of one off gags and Moffat deliberately being a tease

but don’t tell the Sherlock fanbase that because apparently the only good thing about the show is how Bennedict wants to Cumberbatch Martin right in his Freeman

isn’t sherlock supposed to be asexual why would it matter if he has a lady or a dude friend
